Collection of Lifelong Learning Policies and Strategies

1 April 2015

Since 2011, the Library of the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) has systematically collected laws, policies, strategies and action plans on lifelong learning from UNESCO Member States and international organizations. Apart from a few exceptions, the documents are available in English and were created and published after the year 2000, thus reflecting the rising political interest in lifelong learning in the new millennium.

In this collection, UIL offers a comprehensive overview of lifelong learning policy development worldwide. It comprises abstracts providing concise summaries of each of the collection’s lifelong learning policies and strategies. A full-text link to the respective document is given in each abstract.
