RVA case studies in civil society
RVA case studies in civil society highlight examples of RVA of non-formal and informal learning that takes place in communities and through volunteer work, and its impact on a wide range of social, interpersonal and life skills. In many post-conflict countries, RVA mechanisms for the recognition of such learning programmes focus on civic and peace education, environmental improvement and community reconstruction. In other countries, recognition of non-formal and informal learning in the community centre focuses on literacy and livelihood skills.
