International capacity-building workshop on measuring literacy learning outcomes of adult literacy programmes

UIL organised, in collaboration with UNESCO/BREDA, the first technical workshop for the RAMAA project from 9 to 11 February 2011 in Senegal. The focus of the workshop was to prepare the joint literature research and develop the concept for a competence framework which will serve as the research tool.

The workshop was attended by the Secretary-General of CONFEMEN (La Conférence des ministres de l'Education ayant le français en partage), the Director of the National Department of Literacy and National Languages of Senegal, the Director of the National Centre for Educational Resources, a representative of the ADEA Working Group on Non-formal Education, members of each country team and Professor Peter Easton from Florida State University, USA.
