Challenges and Obstacles in Carrying out the Work:

The rate of illiteracy in Africa, and in Nigeria in particular is high. It it is one of the reason why there is a high rate of unemployment, low mortality rate, corruption, indecent work and economic growth. There is too much hunger with over 60 percent not able to eat three meals a day. Lack of education has also promoted war and injustice in Africa and in Nigeria in particular.

Strategies and Perspectives to Improve Services:

Provision of adult and non-formal education to low-literate adults, provision of community libraries, organizing social events for older adults (aged 40 years and above).

Role envisaged within the Network of Networks:

To partner as Membership Organization in Nigeria, representing the interest and promoting the vision and mission of ALADIN. Other ALADIN members can benefit from our User Design Experience, submitted from our adult literacy learners and members. We envisage ALADIN to help improve our work with technical and capacity initiative.
