Mandates

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports is responsible for public administration in education, for developing educational, youth and sport policies and international cooperation in these fields as well as formulating the strategy of the Lifelong learning for tertiary education.

Policy Issues

Taking part in creation and realization of the Implementation plan of the Strategy of Lifelong Learning for tertiary education Formulating The Long-Term Plan for Educational, Scientific, Research, Development, Artistic and Other Creative Activities of Higher Education Institutions as a tool for financing HEI, LLL is one of the priorities European Social Fund (ESF) – National projects – Tertiary Education Reform, National Qualification Framework of Tertiary Education, Effective Knowledge Transfer ESF – Individual projects realized by Higher education institutions mainly aimed on innovation of study programmes and further education of academics and staff Supporting lifelong learning mobility programmes
